AA Warranty
In 2007 AA Warranty invited Apple Wellbeing to carry out health assessments and consultancy on their workforce, with a view to providing their employees with an improved quality of life.
All health assessments were 100% confidential with each individual receiving a confidential tailor made report with advice and supporting literature where appropriate.
One year later to the day, Apple Wellbeing visited and re-assessed the health of the workforce. They found that employees within the firm had taken the advice of the health consultants and significant improvements had been made within the company. Once all the data had been collated, Apple Wellbeing produced an in depth company trend analysis report showing the comparisons of the results from 2007 to 2008.
Once presented to the MD, he was amazed at the findings:
- 8% improvement in diastolic hypertension (Blood pressure)

60% of individuals had lost weight
- 12% improvement in hip/waist ratios
- 4% increase in lung function
- 8% improvement in levels of exercise
- 12% improvement in handgrip strength
- 8% improvement in flexibility
- 8% improvement in individuals suffering from cholesterol greater than 6 mmol/l
- Blood sugar results remained the same, however, no individuals were found to be pre-diabetic originally.
The MD commented on what a valuable commodity the health screening and consultancy were in ensuring a healthy, productive workforce.
